We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Talent Acquisition Partner based in our Irvine, CA location.  The Talent Acquisition Partner will report to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor of the Human Resources Department.  This position will partner with managers, associates and applicants to provide an exceptional recruitment experience.

*This position is full-time in-office only.

General Responsibilities
  • Schedule and conduct thorough intake meetings with Hiring Managers and stakeholders for all open requisitions. Develop a hiring profile, recruiting strategy, and establish hiring flow for each assigned requisition. 
  • Assist Hiring Manager in crafting a compelling job posting and publish posting on company career page and any applicable external job boards. 
  • Source passive candidates through LinkedIn, resume databases, Boolean queries, referrals, and social media. 
  • Develop and maintain sourcing relationships with universities, vocational schools, professional associations, and community groups.
  • Screen and vet active job applicants.
  • Coordinate and conduct first round interviews via phone, video, or in person.
  • Manage hiring flow for all open requisitions by establishing feedback loops and efficiently scheduling all interview steps.
  • If needed, identify niche agency partners, negotiate contract terms, and manage relationship. 
  • Provide a positive candidate experience that honors In-N-Out Burger’s core values. 
  • Ensure all applicable pre-employment screening is completed including applicant testing, drug screening, physical, background and education checks and that results are communicated to managers.
  • Partner with Compensation and Payroll to create, approve, and process offers.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and advise managers on orientation process.
  • Support store staffing through answering inbound calls from applicants and stores.
  • When needed, participate in the new store opening hiring events. 
  • Serve as an ambassador of In-N-Out Burger’s Mission and Values in all candidate touch points, vendor relationships, and in public facing settings, such as job fairs, networking events, and school visits. 
  • Proactively communicate with Department Heads and Human Resources to identify future talent needs. 
  • Advise hiring managers on best practices for talent selection and retention. 
  • Proactively gather and communicate market data on compensation, benefits, and total rewards. 
  • Participate in special projects in Recruiting and Human Resources. 
  • Other projects and duties as assigned. 
Work Schedule + Benefits

Full-time, Exempt
Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
In-office position.
Occasional travel is required between our corporate facilities (Irvine, CA, Baldwin Park, CA and Lathrop, CA) as well as to satellite offices in Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Oregon and Colorado on an as needed basis.  The frequency and extent of travel will vary depending on the volume and nature of positions in each facility.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. 
  • 3+ years’ experience in recruiting in a fast-paced setting
  • Previous experience in agency recruiting is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Active listener who cares deeply about aligning candidates’ passions with the organization’s objectives
  • Proven track record of closing candidates and hiring managers
  • Demonstrates organizational savvy
  • Track record of building networks both internally and externally
