We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Support Facilities Facility Supervisor based in our Chino, CA* warehouse.  

The Support Facilities Facility Supervisor reports to the Support Facilities Maintenance Manager, and is responsible for assisting in the management of all maintenance, preventative maintenance, deferred maintenance, and all repairs for the Chino campus. The Support Facilities Facility Supervisor will work closely with other In-N-Out support teams, including Warehousing, Meat and Spread, Fleet Services, Cookout, Security, IT, as well as with 3rd party vendors and contractors. 

*This position is full-time, in-office only. 

General Responsibilities
  • Practice care and maintenance of In-N-Out Burger support facilities in accordance with our established standards of excellence; follow posted work rules and procedures
  • Possess a complete understanding and background in Facilities Maintenance services
  • Participate in the coordination of annual Fire/Life/Safety training; assist in the maintenance of Emergency Operations Center and supplies
  • Ongoing coordination to ensure all compliance regulations and reporting are satisfied
  • Supervise Facility Technicians and coordinate with Janitor team to ensure consistency and best practices through effective teamwork and communication
  • Perform repairs on major systems including BMS, HVAC, High Pressure Water, Waste Water, Machinery, Automation, Robotics, Electrical, and Hydraulics
  • Perform general labor such as carrying, stacking, and sorting of materials used in and around the campus, as well as debris removal
  • Assist in general cleaning of various areas of the campus; includes using a vacuum, mop, brush, broom, floor scrubber, waxer, steam cleaner, high pressure spray cleaner, and various other cleaning devices
  • Prepare and manage Preventative Maintenance Manuals and schedules for the entire campus
  • Assign and supervise drywall patching, tile setting/repair (including ceilings), and mixing materials
  • Perform minor repairs on furniture, floors, vent registers, doors, and door hardware
  • Maintain paint and perform touch-ups on interior and exterior of buildings
  • Perform electrical repairs such as installing/repairing light switches, receptacles, ballasts, power cords, timers, fans, etc.
  • Oversee work with outside contractors for various projects (i.e. HVAC, roll-up doors, elevators, gates, finish carpentry, office equipment installations, etc.)

  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm 
  • Department needs may require occasional overtime 
  • Requires significant field work and travel; will travel around the campus and to hardware stores for parts runs

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 4-5 years' experience in general carpentry (required) 
  • 7-10 years' experience in the areas of basic construction, field maintenance, and facility maintenance 
  • Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or experience/familiarity to handle refrigerants
  • Certification or Associate's degree from an HVAC program at a vocational/technical school or experience/familiarity with HVAC (required) 
  • Basic electrical certifications or experience/familiarity with electrical (required)
  • OSHA certification (required)
  • Certified to operate a forklift, scissor lift or boom lift 
  • Hands-on construction experience and/or previous handyman experience (required) 
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in ServiceNow
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, while exhibiting a positive and professional attitude   
  • Prior experience managing a team; strong leadership skills 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; attention to detail 
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, be a self-starter, and able to work both autonomously and in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while exercising discretion and good judgment 
  • Will possess a strong work ethic, excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to observe safety guidelines   
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must possess valid Driver's license
