We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Landscape Maintenance Supervisor based in our Baldwin Park, CA office, to service the southern California region: San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Orange County. The Landscape Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding In-N-Out Burger restaurants.

General Responsibilities

Take care of the landscape at approximately 62 In-N-Out Burger stores, covering parts of the Southern California Region: San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Orange County.
Spend at least 80% of time in the field visiting assigned store locations
Perform such duties as meeting with Store Managers and maintenance contractors
Audit store landscaping; complete irrigation system checks
Troubleshoot problems; Develop recommendations for small improvement projects
Assist with the supervision of landscape installations and renovations

Work Schedule + Benefits

Full-time, Exempt
Varying hours, but typically: M-F, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm
Travel: Approximately 80% of the Landscape Maintenance Supervisor’s time is spent in the field; 20% of the time is spent in the office in Baldwin Park
Overnight travel will be required
Most assignments are day trips; however, assignments at distant locations may involve a one or two night hotel stay

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant coursework such as: Business, management, horticulture, or a related field
Combination of a high school diploma and work experience in the landscape industry may suffice, including some lead supervisory experience
Experience and/or formal education in landscape and irrigation maintenance and installation, including subsurface drip irrigation preferred
Proficiency with weather-based, “smart” irrigation controllers
Experience and/or formal education with landscape and irrigation system design is a plus
Works well independently with little or no supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer application skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Pest control experience is a plus
A valid Driver’s License
