In-N-Out Burger has an excellent opportunity for a part-time Human Resources Coordinator based in Irvine, CA. This position will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources department with a variety of projects. 

*This is an in-office position.

General Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of human resources administrative and clerical tasks, such as fielding telephone calls, filing, and data entry
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Distribute incoming department mail, respond (orally & in writing) to regularly occurring requests for information and prepares materials for training classes
  • Support the recruitment and hiring process by answering applicant questions
  • Answer or redirect HR related phone calls; Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls
  • Collaborate with other departments or functions (Benefits, Payroll, Operations, Marketing, etc.)
  • Update  the Human Resources pages of the company Intranet and fulfill personnel file requests
  • Assist with background screenings, filing, photocopying, mailing and answering calls; Perform other administrative duties as assigned
  • Distribute updated Labor posters
  • Projects will range from clerical to more complex administrative tasks 
  • May assist with overflow work from other HR Associates
Work Schedule + Benefits
Part-time (20 hrs.), Hourly, Non-Exempt
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Department needs may call for occasional overtime


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.  A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field a plus
  • Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience.  HR coordinator experience, or relevant administrative experience a plus
  • Knowledge of human resource processes and best practices
  • Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
  • Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; SharePoint a plus)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with internal and external customer in a positive and professional manner
  • Spanish a plus
