Description & Requirements

We have an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time Day Sanitation Technician in our Baldwin Park, CA warehouse.  The Day Sanitation technician will work in the Meat processing department.

General Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining the sanitation of the Meat Department offices, locker rooms and hallways.  
  • Responsible for maintaining the breakroom, including cleaning and stocking supplies as needed.
  • Responsible for picking up the daily lunch order for associates ordering from our local store.
  • Responsible for cleaning all meat crates, blue plastic pallets and sanitizing the crate wash machine at the end of each shift.
  • Use all proper cleaning procedures to ensure that both In-N-Out Burger and USDA standards are achieved.
  • Understand and Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Be able to communicate with all associates to a minimum level required to warn of a dangerous condition.
  •  Must be self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
Work Schedule + Benefits
  • Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
  • $18.36/hourly 
  • Must be available to work the following shifts: 
  • 4:00am-12:30pm
  • 6:30am- 3:00pm
  • 5 days per week (Rotating Schedule)
  • Weekend and holiday availability required

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) year experience working in a meat facility or similar responsibilities
  • Sanitation experience in a food processing plant  or janitorial experience
  • Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for food products
Physical Demands/Requirements
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
  • Ability to withstand varied weather conditions, such as cold and heat, extreme wet, within closed surroundings
  • Will work in hot, humid environments.
  • Position requires frequent lifting, standing, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling
  • Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings
